He's been sitting on a shelf since roughly the Reagan administration. Never complained once. Gary could learn something.

This is a vintage 1980s cloth Santa with the soft, printed-face charm you don't see anymore. He's got a red snowflake-print suit, a quilted swirl beard, a tall pointed hat topped with a real jingle bell, green mittens and slouchy plum boots. He comes with his own little green drawstring "Merry Christmas" sack covered in holly.

  • Button-jointed arms, so he can wave or hug
  • Long legs that dangle, made for mantel and shelf edges
  • Red ribbon loop for hanging
  • Flat round base, so he sits up on his own
  • Includes the drawstring "Merry Christmas" sack

Condition: Good vintage condition. Light pilling and gentle fabric wear consistent with age, and a slight age tone to the beard. There's a tiny pinhole on the bottom of the base, which is not visible when he's sitting. No maker tag. Please check the photos. What you see is exactly what you get.

Found by us, personally. We'd put him on our own mantel, but somebody said we have "enough Santas." (Somebody was wrong.)
